Support disk for shaft of spinning rotor

The support disk, for the shaft of a spinning rotor, is surrounded by a carrier ring with a polymer support ring injection molded round its circumference. The outer circumference of the carrier ring has at least one radial projection (4) with at least one recess (6) at its side towards the outer periphery. The projection (4) has a passage opening (6) through it, wholly filled by the polymer material of the support ring. The radial projection (4) has consistent and irregular passage openings through it. Each passage opening (6) has a recess extending radially inwards. The recess (6) is formed by a groove (7) at the peripheral side round the circumference, open radially outwards. The base (8) of the groove (7) is penetrated by the passage openings. The groove (7) has a rectangular cross-section, with a depth (9) matching the height (10) of the radial projection (4). The radial projection (4) has end sides (11,12) axially on both sides with at least one closed ring groove in contact with projections from the support disk (3). The passage openings link the ring grooves together in the axial direction. The support disk (3) has a radial U-profile, open inwards, to give a clip grip over the radial projection (4).
