The profile has a deformable hose-shaped part (1) to seal the roof opening when the roof is closed. The part is elastic in an upward direction, so that when not under load, it extends over an upper roof edge (7) and thereby forms a wind deflector. The front wall (8) of the part has a fold (9). The part has a hose-like water seal (2) with internal leakage water channel (3). The seal fastener is located below the water seal and is formed by a U-shaped clamp part (4). The calm part is surrounded by a stiffener plate (14).
