Sewing machine blower, used to open out folded fabric hem

Assembly at a sewing machine, to open out a rolled hem at the fabric, has a blower system with an end piece (30) of a hollow tube (29) with a gas outlet. The gas stream flows out towards the inwards rolled fabric edge (13) with a hem (11) folded inwards. The end piece (30) of the hollow tube has an edge (40) to give a mechanical stripping action and assist the unrolling of the folded hem (11). The gas outlet has separate drillings. The end piece (30) is in front of the fabric support surface (2), aligned at an angle of 45 deg from the right front to the left rear. The end piece (30) is between the fabric (9) and the hem (11), to an inner folded edge (13). The end piece (30) has a rectangular cross-section, and a projection to guide the gas stream. The blower system has an additional blower, aligned across the direction of fabric movement, with a step (38) and an unrolling edge (44) with an opening (40) to deliver a gas stream (42) to the edge (13) of the fabric which is rolled outwards.
