METHOD FOR INSTALLING AND/OR REMOVING A CABLE IN CABLE PASSAGE CONDUITS AND IMPLEMENTING DEVICE

The invention concerns a method for installing and/or removing a cable (300) in cable passage ducts (500) and an associated implementing device. Said method consists in directing a water current inside the ducts (500), the cable (300) to be installed having a filling density of the ducts reaching 90 %, and the ducts (500) form a winding course over a distance more than 2000 m. Said method is essentially characterised in that the cable (300) is subjected to a driving force controlling its forward progression speed (v), and in that said driving force and the pressure of the water circulating in the ducts are adjusted so as to maintain a constant flow rate of water inside the ducts (500).
