<p>The invention concerns an electronic memory card reader comprising a card body (11) and electrical contact pads (12). Said reader comprises: a reading head (100) with connecting elements designed to co-operate with said contact pads (12); an insertion slot (200); a stop (300) for the card body, defining a processing position wherein the pads (12) are in contact with the connecting elements (112); a rotating part (400) capable, in closed position, of ensuring electrical contact between the elements (112) and the pads (12) in processing position, and, of moving away in said closed position by the action of a force developed by the card (10) moving in translation, said part (400) being brought back in closed position by return means (600). The invention is applicable to public telephone card readers.</p> |
