PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route information presenting device wherein the entire route is quickly confirmed by, when a route from an arbitrary departure point (current position) to a destination is set for confirming the root, performing stepwise update of map display even when the root is long. SOLUTION: In a central processing device 1, a route setting (searching means) 32 is performed between at least two points (for example, current position and destination) inputted from a point setting means 10, which is overlaid on a map for display, and a control means 34 is provided wherein, when a displayed map is updated along a set route, a specified point on the route is decided and the map display is sequentially updated with each specified point as reference. |
