PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To derive a color measurement value suited for inking control on a printing machine by setting up a structure in which the color space vector of a pixel is multiplied by a weighting factor and the weighting factor is determined based on the image covering degree and/or the color spacing of the pixels to their adjacent pixels. SOLUTION: Color vectors F(L, a, b) to be formed by scanning printed sheets 3 form a starting point for calculating the input value to a printer control device 9, and this calculation is performed by an evaluation device 5. The color difference between a certain one pixel 4 and a reference pixel 4 or a pixel 4 corresponding to the reference of a typical OK sheet 3, or other color pixel of the same printing sheet 3 is expressed by a color space vector ΔF. The evaluation device 5 calculates the color space vector ΔF based on a color vector F obtained by a specified operation for each of the pixels 4 of the present printing sheet 3 and an object color vector found in the OK sheet 3 or an object color vector found by other method. |
