PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an undesired spread of a spectrum generated with frequency switching of a carrier frequency (frequency hopping) with a simple circuit config uration. SOLUTION: A frequency switching period signal generating section 10 generates a frequency switching period signal that denotes a frequency switching period from a frequency switching timing before a prescribed time till the frequency switching timing after a prescribed time. A transmission waveform shape control signal generating section 12 applies waveform shape processing such as integration to the frequency switching period signal 11a to generate a transmission waveform shaping control signal 12a where a waveform change in a leading part and a trailing part of the frequency switching period signal 11a. A transmission waveform shaping section 6 reduces a level of a transmission signal (AM modulation signal) in the case of frequency switching (frequency hopping) based on the transmission waveform shaping control signal 12a to apply waveform shaping to the transmission signal. Or the transmission waveform shaping section 6 may reduce a level of a carrier signal at frequency switching. |
