PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the development of an optical strain by preventing the lateral irradiation of actinic energy rays so as to carry out a uniform polymerization reaction over a whole lens by a method wherein the irradiation of the actinic energy rays is performed under the condition that the side surface of a cavity is shielded from the actinic energy rays. SOLUTION: A molding die 1 is produced by winding an ultraviolet impermeable self-adhesive tape 4 around the outer peripheral surfaces of two molds 2 and 3 under the condition that an upper mold 2 and a lower mold 3 are positioned at a predetermined interval. In other words, the two molds 2 and 3 are fixed under the condition that the predetermined interval is provided between the two molds and, at the same time, the gap between these molds 2 and 3 is sealed with the ultraviolet impermeable self-adhesive tape 4 into an enclosed space so as to form a lens-shaped cavity 5. As the material of the two molds 2 and 3 consisting of the molding die 1, the permeableness of ultraviolet rays is necessary. The two molds consist of transparent glass. Surfaces 21 and 31, by which the optical surfaces of a lens are transferred and which are opposite to each other, are mirror-polished. |
