PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively, and rapidly fixing hexavalent chromium contained in a waste with high efficiency. SOLUTION: In the method for fixing hexavalent chromium by a hydraulic material, the molar concentration of aluminum-containing ion, sulfate ion, hexavalent chromium ion and a material to be each ion is adjusted to satisfy the inequality, ((SO4 <2-> )+2×(Cr<6+> ))/(Al<3+> )<=0.7, expressed in terms of respectively aluminum ion, sulfate ion and hexavalent chromium ion. |
