PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get the connection end structure of a cable simply and at low cost without needing parts other than a cable, by equipping a cable with a recess for connection at the surface of the insulator of the cable, in the specified position from the end of the cable. SOLUTION: To expose a conductor 4, the insulator part of a cable is cut off at the place of a proper length L1 from the end of the cable 1. The cut-off insulator 3 is not removed from the cable, and it is utilized as a protective member 2 until connection of the cable. Next, a cut recess 5 is made at the surface of the insulator, at the place of a specified length L2 further from the cutting section. The step 5a of this recess 5 engages with an elastic engaging section projected from the inside periphery of this hole when a cable is inserted into a receiving member 10, and receives the tip of a claw-shaped body 12, thus it has a slip-out preventive function. As a result, by the operation of merely pushing it into the receiving member, holding the end of the cable, the cable can be fixed without fail to the receiving member. |
