摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which uses magnetic grains for electrifying more excellent in durability and which is stable prolonging over a long term by loading a cleanerless system using an electrifying magnetic brush. SOLUTION: This image forming method is constituted of a process that a photoreceptor provided with a photoreceptive layer on digital copying machine conductive support and an electric charge injection layer being most distant from the conductive supporting layer is electrified by bringing an electrifying member consisting of the magnetic grains into contact with the photoreceptor and applying a voltage, a process that a latent image is formed by exposing the photoreceptor and a process that the latent image is visualized by toner. Then, the DC voltage obtained by superimposing a vibration voltage whose interpeak is <=1,000 V is used as the voltage applied on the electrifying member. Besides, the average grain size of the magnetic grains is >=10μm and <=40μm and a ration between the minor axis length and the major axis length of the magnetic grains whose grains size is 5μm to 20μm is <=0.85. Besides, the volume resistance value of the whole magnetic grains is 10<4> to 10<9>Ωcm.
