PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve printing resistance, image strength and ink receptivity by forming a layer of a specified photosensitive compsn. on a specified Al substrate. SOLUTION: A layer of a photosensitive compsn. contg. a diazo resin, a photopolymn. initiator and a microgel having addition polymerizable unsatd. groups on the surface is formed on an Al substrate subjected to surface roughening and anodic oxidation. The Al substrate is preferably degreased so as to remove rolling oil on the surface before the surface roughening. The diazo resin is preferably used in combination with a binder. The diazo resin is preferably a condensation resin of an arom. diazonium compd. and a carbonyl compd. The pref. amt. of the diazo resin contained in the photosensitive compsn. is 0.5-30 wt.%, particularly 0.5-20 wt.%. |
