<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CFRP-reinforced square pipe (CFRP: carbon fiber reinforced plastic) to be long and have high bending rigidity and reduce weight and a cost, and provide high rigidity against a twist load. SOLUTION: Grooves 9 are formed in respective outer side parts and only corner parts 10 are formed in a thick section and a so formed square pipe body 8 made of a metal in a deformed shape in cross section is manufactured. Sheet-form CFRP prepregs 3 are lamination-molded in a simple-flat-form state to manufacture a CFRP flat plate 4. The CFRP flat plate 4 is fitted in each groove 9 of the square pipe body 8 and adhered thereto, and the square pipe body 8 and the CFRP flat plate 4 are integrally formed. The CFRP flat plate 4 is constituted such that the sheet-form CFRP prepregs are lamination-molded, and it is preferable that the square pipe body 8 is made of aluminum.</p> |
