PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus with cost reduction attained in a voltage drop detecting circuit. SOLUTION: In the voltage drop detecting circuit of this portable electronic apparatus, a voltage drop detection IC53 detects the battery voltage drop of a battery 51 to 3.6 V or less by continuity of a transistor 14 if the output of a control output terminal is at a high level, and the voltage drop detection IC53 detects the battery voltage drop to 3.0 V or less by voltage drop of a diode 13 if the output of the control output terminal is at a low level.
