<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain toner particles excellent in developing property and transfer property by controlling the circumferential speed of the outermost edge of a rotor and the flow velocity of the air which passes through a space between a blade and the side wall of a cylindrical treating room to satisfy specified conditions. SOLUTION: The height Ha of blades, the space L1a between the top end of the blades and the front wall, the max diameter R1a of a first rotor, the space L2a between the blades and the side wall of a first cylindrical treating room are controlled to satisfy the relation of formula I. The flow velocity v o-f the air which passes through the space L2a between the blades and the side wall of the first cylindrical treating room and the circumferential speed w1 of the outermost edge of the rotor are controlled to satisfy the relation of formula II to treat the surface of toner particles. Thereby, overpulverization of toner particles due to higher treating strength can be avoided, and excess resident time in the device can be added so that the surface of toner particles can be efficiently treated at a low cost.</p> |
