PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall surface illuminating luminaire that can improve the workability of the attachment of a reflecting plate to a luminaire body and the safety in handling the luminaire body. SOLUTION: This luminaire 21 is composed for wall surface illumination purpose by installing: a luminaire body 22 in which a reflecting plate fixing part 28a is formed at the lower edge 28 of an oblique opening 22a of which upper edge 27 is provided with a bent part 27a, and which contains a lamp; a reflecting plate retaining fitting 25 that has a catching piece 25b to cover the tip of the bent part from the inside of the luminaire body in an overhanging form and is placed in the luminaire body; and a reflecting plate 26 of which one end forms an inserted part 26a to be inserted in between the bent part and the catching part while the other end forms a fixed part 26b to be fixed on the reflecting plate fixing part and which is installed in the luminaire body and reflects the light from the lamp toward the opening. In this case, the reflecting plate retaining fitting 25 is placed in the luminaire body 22 by directing the tip of the catching piece 25b toward the inside surface of the side wall 22c of the luminaire body 22 of which upper edge 27 is continued by being bent. |
