PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the lithographic printing plate superior in image quality and printing resistance and good in storage stability by composing it with a polymer having specified repeating units and an oxygen generator and a compound having a hydroxymethyl group. SOLUTION: This printing plate comprises the oxygen generator and the compound having the hydroxymethyl groups and the polymer having the repeating units each represented by the formula in which R1 is an optionally substituted group including an atom; (m) is 0, 1, 2, or 3; (n) is 1, 2, or 3; A is a divalent bonding group; (p) is 0 or 1; and R1 is an optional group, such as a lower alkyl or lower alkoxy group, and it may be absent. The acid generator is embodied, preferably, by diphenyliodonium salt, triphenylsulfonium salt, haloalkylated s-triazine, and the like, and the compound having the hydroxy- methyl groups is embodied, preferably, by a resole, etc. |
