<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a heaviest load test by using a minimum testing device. SOLUTION: In sufficiency in the resource of the outgoing line of an ATM exchange 1 to be tested composed of a plurality of loops 5 is detected by constituting the loops 5 in folding back the outgoing line of the exchange 1 to its incoming line and setting a connection to the loops 5 from another incoming line, while a pseudo call testing device 3 on the called side is called by utilizing a routing function which detours to another outgoing line. When the testing device 3 is called, a pseudo call testing device 2 on the originating side sends a call setting requesting signal to a signal processing section, and then, a routing processing section 16 is called for selecting the route of the outgoing line. When a line corresponding section 11 having the first priority is selected, the section 11 is repeatedly selected as far as the section 11 has a space and, when all space of the section 11 is occupied, the section 11 is switched to a line corresponding section 12 on the incoming side. A line management section 18 checks the resources of the band, etc., required for setting the connection for space.</p> |
