PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio selective calling receiver, that extends the service life of a built-in battery after a low voltage state of the built-in battery is detected. SOLUTION: When a selection call number in a selection call signal received by an antenna 1 and a radio section 2 is stored in advance in an ID-ROM 4 and matches with its own selection call number registered in a selection call number comparison section 31, a decoder section 3 gives the selection call number and a message signal to a function control section 5. The function control section 5 uses a notice drive section 8 and a notice section 9 to inform a carrying person of the arrival of a call, uses a display control section 10 and a display section 11 to allow them to display a message and to allow a message memory section 7 to store message data. When a low voltage detection circuit section 13 detects a low voltage for a built-in battery 14, the function control section 5 resets the selection call number for the reception operation. A switch operation section 12 resets a low voltage alarm. |
