PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette for a tape capable of preventing reduction of an inner size in a thickness direction of the cassette during ultrasonic welding. SOLUTION: Between a tip portion of an engaging projection 15 formed at a lower half 4 and a bottom portion of an engaging hole 12 formed at an upper half 1, a separation layer 11 is formed to be made of a material exhibiting an anti-miscibility against the respective constituent materials of these engaging projection 15 and the engaging hole 12. Thus, direct contact between the tip portion of the engaging projection 15 and the bottom portion of the engaging hole 12 is prevented. In addition, the tip portion of the engaging projection 15 and the bottom portion of the engaging hole 12 are also prevented from being welded to be connected with each other during ultrasonic welding. Thus, an inner size in a thickness direction of a cassette is maintained at a predetermined value. |
