USE OF A SPARINGLY SOLUBLE SALT OF A HETEROPOLY ACIDS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF AN ANALYTE, METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF SUCH ANALYTE AND SUITABLE AGENT THEREFOR

A sparingly soluble salt of a heteropoly acids is used for the determination of an analyte, which is an aromatic amine rich in electrons, or together with another substance leads to such an amine. The determination of an analyte by means of heteropoly blue formation is characterised in that the analyte is reacted with a substance which leads to the formation of an aromatic amine rich in electrons which is brought into contact with a sparingly soluble salt of a heteropoly acid. The agent contains a substance which in combination with said analyte leads to the formation of an aromatic amine rich in electrons and sparingly soluble salt of a heteropoly acid or substances which yield such a salt on contact in a liquid medium or in carrier bound form.
