<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image decoder that outputs a natural reproduced image with high image quality from a compressed image streams, while decreasing time resolution. SOLUTION: In the dynamic image decoder that receives a compressed image stream generated by a motion compensation predict system and that decodes selectively an image according to a pre-designated method, a frequency region motion compensation section 11 receives predict error signal information and motion vector information for images whose decoding is omitted, and applied motion compensation processing to the predict error signal information. A vector sum section 12 stores accumulated sums of motion vectors, and motion compensation device 112 receives the storage result in the vector sum section 12 and data of the image which is a decoding object, so as to execute the motion compensation processing of the image of the decoding object and to decode a display image.</p> |
