The spigot device has a spigot element for fixing to the container with closing part and outlet element for the container in an overhead position, and a holding part. It also includes a gas store for gas under pressure. The gas store has a gas outlet and the spigot element (30) has a gas inlet to supply gas to the container (10), which can be connected to the gas outlet. There may be a stand (20) to hold the container in the overhead position.
