A locking system for a motor vehicle including a central control device (7) connected to all the locks (1-6) in the vehicle via electric conductors (8), door locks (1-4) which are actuated via a key (9,10) and a control device, and can thus be brought into an unlocked, a locked and a blocked (double-locked) condition, in which the doors can be opened neither from the outside nor from the inside, when the door locks (1-4) are in the blocked condition. Also included is a switch (15) which is also connected to the control device (7) and with its actuation, only the door locks (3,4) of the rear doors can be brought into the blocked condition. The switch (15) is specifically arranged on the inner face of the driver door or on the dashboard within the reach of the driver. The key (9,10) is specifically provided with a transmitter (10) which emits a remote control signal which is picked up by a receiver (11) in the vehicle, and relayed to the control device (7) for evaluation. |
