The aim of the invention is to configure a fast-acting hydraulic valve, so that the time which passes between the signal being given from outside and the valve body (35) completing its switching movement from the first switch position to the second switch position is very short. To this end, a second electromagnet (40) which acts on the valve body (35) so that it switches from the second switch position to the first is provided. When the second electromagnet (40) is activated and the valve body (35) takes up the first switch position, it retains said first switch position even if the first electromagnet (14) is activated. In order to switch the valve body (35) from the first switch position to the second switch position, the second electromagnet (40) is deactivated whilst the first electromagnet (14) remains activated.
