The invention relates to a device for fixing a rod antenna (1) on a mounting surface (5) by means of a screw connection, enabling a certain degree of anti-theft protection. To this end, the base (10) of the rod antenna (1) has a screw thread (15). A rotational slide coupling (20) is provided in the base of the antenna (10). The slide coupling (20) interacts with the screw thread (15) in such a way that a rotational movement of the slide coupling (20) causes a rotation of the screw thread (15). A rotational body (30) of the base (10) elastically surrounds the slide coupling (20) so that the slide coupling (20) is entrained by the rotational body (30) during a rotational movement of the rotational body (30) with the purpose of fixing the rod (35) of a rod antenna (1) on the mounting surface (5) by means of the screw thread (15) and the rotational body (30) slides on the slide coupling (20) during a rotational movement of the rotational body (30) with the purpose of releasing the antenna rod (35) fixed to the mounting surface (5) by means of the screw thread (15).
