<p>The flexible connection joins the flanged ends (3, 4) of two pipes. One flange (5) has a convex ball section which axially engages a concave cup section on the opposing flange (7). The two pipes are tensioned together by a metal bellows (9). Each end (10, 11) of the bellows unit is sealed w.r.t. the pipes. Pref. a tension spring is fitted over the metal bellows unit and also connected to both pipes.</p> |
