PURPOSE:To bore a lead exposing hole efficiently in a band-shaped cable by making it have a cylindrical top and a part, which is supported by the drive for rotating a processing tool around the axis of the top. CONSTITUTION:The top 33 of a lead exposing hole processing tool 30 is pressed, vertically to a band-shaped cable 1, against the part on the lead wire 2 in the insulator 3 on one side of a band-shaped cable 1 while rotating around the axis of the top 33. By doing it that way, the circular part, on which the top 33 of the processing tool 30 abuts, out of the insulator 3 softens by frictional heat, and this softened circular part separates gradually in such a way that it peels off the other part of the insulator 3 by the torque that it receives from the top 33 of the processing tool 30, whereby a lead exposing hole 4 is bored in the insulator 3. Hereby, the lead exposing hole 4 can be bored efficiently in the band-shaped cable 1 being already completed. |
