PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preserving method of a mixed bed capable of suppressing the degradation of performance of an ion exchange resin constituting a mixed bed. SOLUTION: In the preservation of the mixed bed in a state that the water supply to the mixed bed composed of an anion exchange resin and a cation exchange resin is stopped, the preserving method of the mixed bed is by passing water upwardly through the mixed bed 2 to form both resin into layers to separate by the difference of specific gravity and preserving in a state that an anion exchange resin layer as an upper layer and a cation exchange layer as a lower layer are formed and when the water supply is started again, water is passed downwardly to clean the upper and the lower layer. |
