<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items by simplifying a structure and to reduce a man-hour for construction work by reducing the weight and cost of the structure. SOLUTION: A connecting medium 1, having a partial ball 2 formed at its end and provided with a pin 5 located in a position where a horizontal axis passing the center of the partial ball 2 and extending in a direction perpendicular to the central axis C of the connecting medium 1 passes the surface 2' of the partial ball, and a handrail connecting member having an edge 4' which makes sliding contact with the partial ball surface 2' of the connecting medium 1, are connected together in such a way as to be rotatable using the pin 5 as an axis. The edge 4' forms a curve by which a point P, shifted by an adjustment angleθfrom a point (p) where a line passing the center of the partial ball 2 and extending in a direction perpendicular to the central axis C of the connecting medium 1 and the horizontal axis reaches the partial ball surface 2', and the pin receiving part 6 of the pin 5, are connected together along the partial ball surface 2'.</p> |
