PURPOSE:To inexpensively and readily obtain optically active amines by acting a microorganism (PDM) of the genus Pseudomonas, etc., capable of subjecting only an acyl derivative of (R)-amine to asymmetric hydrolysis on a specific compound. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism is separated from soil to afford an enzyme reaction source (A) such as a microorganism (PDM) of Pseudomonas putida, etc., or cultured product of PDM or enzyme produced by PDM. Then the ingredient A is added to a 10-60 W/ V% solution of an acyl derivative (enanthiomer mixture) (B) of amine expressed by formula I (X<1> and X<2> are H atom, halogen, OH, alkyl or amino; R is 1-6C alkyl; n is 1-3) together with n-hexane and twin based surfactant and reacted with the acyl derivative at 15-60 deg.C for 1-5 day to give the reaction mixture (C). Then the ingredient C is separated to provide a (R)-amine (D) expressed by formula II (* is asymmetric carbon) and the ingredient D is separated from the residual acyl derivative of S-amine expressed by formula III to produce the optically active amines. |
