PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving sheet of strong glossiness for thermal transfer recording which has an image receiving layer containing activating energy beam cured resin cured by casting of an activating energy beam such as an electron beam or an ultraviolet ray, facilitating dyeing even with low energy, enabling attainment of an image of high density and, moreover, being excellent in a resistance to fusion. SOLUTION: In this image receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording, a coat layer constituted of an activating energy beam curing composition containing an activating energy beam curing organic compound of 5-80 wt.% which has a structure expressed by the formula [wherein R denotes hydrogen or methyl] is provided at least on one surface of a support, and this coat layer is cured by an activating energy beam. |
