PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decease contamination and to decrease load caused by cleaning work and to decrease load of a filter when an apparatus with the filter is used and to decrease frequency of its replacement in an exhaust apparatus for exhausting contaminated air in a room outside such as a ventilator. SOLUTION: A discharge type dust collector 40 is provided on the upstream side of a fan 20 sucking contaminated air in a room. When an apparatus with a filter is used, the filter 30 is provided between the fan 20 and the discharge type dust collector 40. During exhaust operation, sucked air is cleaned by actuating the discharge type dust collector 40. The surface of the dust collecting electrode 41 is coated with a catalyst for decomposing deposits. Odor components deposited on the surface of the dust collecting electrode 41 is decomposed by the catalyst. |
