Procedure for emptying flexible bags under germ-free conditions, and especially bags containing foodstuff

When emptying a bag(2), the product in the bag is kept above ambient pressure. The pressure is recorded in an outlet channel(23) for the product in order to initiate the closing of the channel if the pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold. The pressure is recorded in the channel to slow down a roller device if this pressure exceeds a second predetermined threshold value. The roller compresses the bag to effect discharge of the product. An Independent claim is included for equipment to carry out the proposed procedure. The equipment includes a discharge head(22) with sterilizing means for the opening of the bag, means for pulling out and re-inserting a stopper(6), and means to seal the outlet channel at the bag opening. The equipment also includes a device with motor-driven rollers to compress the bag and effect discharge of the product.
