DATA MEDIUM OPTICAL RECORDING/READING DEVICE

The invention concerns a data medium optical recording/reading device, comprising: a transparent substrate (2) with a substantially planar surface (20) bearing at least a couple of electrodes (E1-E2) defining an air gap zone (3) whereof the dimension substantially corresponds to the dimension of the data to be recorded or read. A couple of electrodes (E1-E2 or E3-E4) constitutes an incident magnetic wave resonator with a component of its electric field parallel to the alignment direction of the electrodes; an optical source (1) illuminates said electrodes by means of an optical beam (F1) whereof one component of the electric field is parallel to the alignment direction of the couple of electrodes. In such conditions, when excited by the beam F1, the electrodes re-transmit a beam concentrated at the air gap (3). said re-transmitted beam enables to record/read a data medium set in the proximity of the electrodes.
