PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a regenerative burner, wherein the problems lie in that a burner tile construction is complicate and has a problem in its durability and requires a large number of parts which make the cost reduction difficult. SOLUTION: A regenerative burner comprises a cylindrical outer tile 2 having a tapered inner peripheral portion and a plug-shaped inner tile 3 having a tapered outer peripheral portion which is snugly fitted into a small-diameter portion of the outer tile. At the center side of the inner tile, a fuel injection opening 11 is formed which corresponds to a cooling air tube 13 supporting a fuel injection tube 12 therein. A heat storage body 14 is filled in a filling space which is formed by the outer tile and the inner tile. a plurality of recesses are formed on the outer peripheral portion of the inner tile and these recesses are indented in a direction away from a fitting contour of the outer tile so that a plurality of vent gaps 10 through which the heat storage body cannot pass are formed between the outer tile and the inner tile. |
