PURPOSE:To enhance the performance of a battery by immersing a porous substrate, in which a mixed crystal of a metal salt to be a main active material and a different kind of metal salt is produced by drying them, in an alkaline solution to convert the mixed crystal into the active material. CONSTITUTION:A porous substrate in which a mixed crystal of a metal salt to be active material and a different kind of metal salt is produced by drying them is immersed in an alkaline solution to convert the mixed crystal into the active material. By this process, a solid solution of the main active material and the different kind of metal salt is produced. By the type of the different kind of metal salt, reactivity of the active material is increased and expansion of the active material is decreased. The performance of a battery can be enhanced. |
