<p>A soft biscuit (2), such as a sponge biscuit, is topped with a molded crispy layer (1), which may have an embossed design (5), with a moist layer (3) sandwiched between them. The crispy layer is molded first, then, after solidification, filled with the moist filling. The edge of the crispy layer (4) is slightly melted, then applied to the biscuit, making a tight seal and imprisoning the filling.</p> |
