PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject resin having excellent conductivity and a slight variation of the conductivity even in varying of a use environment and suitable for a electrophotography copier, etc., by co-using a hydrophilic polyether polyol and a hydrophobic polyol. SOLUTION: This conductive urethane resin is obtained by reacting (A) a compound having at least two pieces of active hydrogen with (B) a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of (C) a quaternary ammonium salt compound expressed by the formula (R1 is a 1-18C alkyl, alkenyl, etc.; R2 to R4 are each a 1-18C alkyl, alkenyl or hydroxyethyl; R5 is a 1-18C alkyl or alkenyl; R6 is H, a 1-18C alkyl or alkenyl; R<7> is a 1-6C alkylene; X<-> is a monofunctional anion). In the reaction, a polyether polyol and a hydrophobic polyol having a 20-1,000C aliphatic and/or an alicyclic hydrocarbon chain are used as the component A. |
