SOLUTION: An external memory device memorizes workpiece data, a work piece retainer use situation file, a workpiece retainer shape file, a standard work depth file, and a workpiece machining schedule data file. The workpiece data has the size and work depth, etc., of a workpiece, the workpiece retainer shape file has the size of a workpiece retainer, and the size and number, etc., of a retainable work piece, the workpiece retainer use situation file has data for indicating the unused or using condition of the workpiece retainer, and the standard work depth file has data for sorting the workpiece at every range of a given work depth. The workpiece origin coordinates are obtained based on these files to prepare workpiece machining schedule data.</p>
