PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable inexpensive manufacture of a carrier tape made of a uniform paper material and also enable recycling, by directly evaporating a metal soluble in water on the surface of a base paper to form a metal evaporated layer. SOLUTION: An aluminum evaporated layer 2 is formed on the surface of a base paper 1, and a release coat layer 3 is formed on the back side of the base paper 1, thus constituting a carrier tape T1 of a three-layer structure. A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 4 is provided on the release coat layer 3, thus forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive carrier tape U1 . Arrangement holes 5 for electronic components I are provided at a predetermined spacing in the longitudinal direction in a center portion of the carrier tape T1 , and feed sprocket holes 6 are provided in the longitudinal direction in both lateral portions. In this case, by forming a metal evaporated layer soluble in water on the surface of the base paper, a uniform metal evaporated layer can be easily formed and wastepaper recycling is made possible. |
