The compact disk function displaying apparatus of an audio/video system having a unitedly composed television, video tape recorder and compact disk player includes: a controller for receiving a compact disk sensing signal and generating a character signal, a data signal and a control signal; and a character signal generator for displaying various functions of a compact disk on a monitor, thereby serving a user's convenience.
