The air filling device (filling bell) has several tire sealing rings (17) available in the bell, which come into use automatically with tires of the corresponding size. The rim sealing ring consists of elastic material. Its diameter can be altered mechanically, hydraulically or pneumatically, so that the size of the rim is automatically altered accordingly and no manual refitting of components is necessary.
