The device has headpiece equipped with an end face(5) in which is formed a housing(4) which widens in the direction of the end face to form a conical section(7). During the release process the conical section is designed to sit upon the locking section(14) of the axle pin(15), and the end face is supported upon the bearing element(12) of the steerable wheel(10). The end face and longitudinal axis of the housing are located at an angle to each other.
