The fine setting group positions the workpieces (24) with precision on a base frame. From the base frame up, the fine setting group consists of an adapter plate (10) for fixing to the base frame, an optional spacer (12), a setting table (14), a plain fitting (16) and a setting unit (20) with a workpiece receiver (26). The plain fitting may have a spacing bush (18) for the setting unit. This spacing bush is made with a reference surface (22).
