Car audio system producing phase shift in front section of car

The phase characteristic and the gain of an audio signal are controlled so that the gain is higher in the front channel than in the rear channel, and a phase shift is realized in the front section of a car. The control is performed by a circuit connected between a filter and a power amplifier in the car audio system. A phase-locked loop is used to control the phase, while a gain control circuit controls the gain of the front channels (door loudspeakers and front door frames) and rear channels.
