PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter and a receiver that can execute performance management of download. SOLUTION: In order to execute performance management of download, a transmitter 500 transmits information that allows a receiver to judge if the transmitter fails to download in the receiver 100. The receiver 100 refers to, compares the information, which has the receiver judge if it fails to download, and software information managed by the receiver, and judges if download of the software is correctly executed or if it is failed. Moreover, the receiver 100 judges whether it is possible to download the software and, when downloading is possible, download of the software is executed without a user's intervention; and when it is not possible to download, a message is outputted to a screen of a display device 200 or the transmitter 500 is notified that downloading is failed. |
