BUILDING MATERIAL CONTAINING ASH SUCH AS COAL ASH AND MAKING OF THE ASH HARMLESS AND REUTILIZATION OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making the ash such as coal ash contg. harmful matter harmless and reutilizing it and the building material produced by the method. SOLUTION: This building material is prepared by mixing 20-40 wt.% coal ash, 20-40 wt.% PP resin and 20-40 wt.% polyethylene terephthalate resin. The ash such as coal ash contg. harmful matter is made harmless and reutilized by the stages as follows. Namely, (a) a bottle made of a polyethylene terephthalate resin and a metallic lid or a paper label and cut fine 21 without being washed with water, heated to the melting temp. of the resin and melted, (b) a container made of a PP resin is cut fine 22, heated to the melting temp. and melted, (c) the ash such as coal ash contg. harmful matter is preheated to the melting temp., and (d) the products obtained in the respective stage are mixed 24, placed in a die 25, press-formed 26 and cooled 27.
