The present invention relates to stacks of disposable absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, pantiliners, or sweat inserts and a process to make such stacks. Such articles are adhesively attached with their garment facing surface to the garment worn by the user of such articles. In particular the present invention relates to stacks of disposable absorbent articles which stacks are provided by using the wearer facing surface of one article in the stack as the release/protection surface to which the adhesive on the garment facing surface of a following article is attached prior to use. <IMAGE>
